Morgan Bennett is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA). She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication at North Carolina State University and her Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family and Individual Therapy at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Areas of interest and experience include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, suicidal thoughts or actions, self-harm, relational issues and transitional issues. Morgan’s approach to therapy centers around the belief that every individual has inherent dignity, and is worthy to be seen, heard, and cared for. Every life experience is unique, and often these experiences can carry specific hurts, pains and sorrows. When life feels overwhelmingly challenging and burdensome, counseling can be a wonderful mechanism to assist in times of need. Morgan believes that peace and joy are possible, and that no story is hopeless, because no story is done being written. Morgan is provisionally licensed and her LMFT approved supervisor is Caroline von Helms (LMFT-S).
